Since Frahme Consulting Services, Inc. is obviously a service organization, it's important that we tell you about ourselves. Although FCS has been in business as a corporation since 1987, our experience and consulting history go back well beyond that date. FCS grew up around the father-and-son team of Herman H. Frahme and Dr. Carl E. Frahme. Herman passed away in 1996 after more than 60 active years in the ceramic industry, the last 20 in a consulting role. The tradition is carried on by Carl, with over 35 years experience in his own right, and FCS has expanded its scope. FCS can draw upon a number of Associates who bring a new dimension to the Full Spectrum Consulting theme.

CARL E. FRAHME, Ph.D.

Carl followed in the footsteps of his father Herman and has over thirty-five years in the ceramics and materials industries as a research manager, as a corporate executive and general manager, and as an educator. He has much experience in product development, management of small corporations, marketing and sales, manufacturing, and education. He was co-founder in 1972 of Ceramic Correspondence Institute, now owned and operated by The American Ceramic Society, and is active in its operation. He was a lecturer in ceramic technology at UCLA.

Carl holds a number of patents in refractory fiber and other technologies. He is a Fellow of The American Ceramic Society and the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering and is a member of the National Institute of Ceramic Engineers.
